After transitioning to cruelty free makeup, I found I couldn’t purchase half the brands I used to love. Here are my top picks for completely cruelty free makeup brands.
This is my fourth Mecca Beauty Loop box I’ve received, and I felt the Mecca HQ team did a fantastic job at curating the winter boxes for Level 3 holders. I got to try some nice skincare products, as well as two generous makeup samples. Read on to hear my thoughts on each of the four products!
The most hyped makeup product this year would have to be Tarte’s Shape Tape Contour Concealer. Almost every beauty influencer swears by this product, and it’s very quickly become every girl’s must-have concealer. A free international shipping promotion allowed me the opportunity to get my hands on this $37 AUD concealer. So, is it worth the hype?
I haven’t tried Tarte’s makeup yet, but their skincare range really caught my attention. Maybe it was partly to do with the gorgeous packaging, and the little travel bundles they offer (other brands, please take note). I picked up the hydration vacation bundle, particularly to try the mist and under eye patches. Read on to hear my thoughts on each product, as well as the bundle as a whole.
This is my super simple DIY of how I “blinged out” my makeup organisers. I find acrylic organisers can sometimes look a little plain or cheap on their own, so I decided to decorate the ones on display.
I’ve heard enough beauty influencers rave about this shade, and decided to give it a try thanks to ColourPop’s “Raid the minibar” promo. As if I needed another nude lipstick in my collection!
I’ve been holding off posting this blog for sometime now, trying to get the words just right, as this is a subject that is close to my heart. When the news broke this week that NARS lost its cruelty-free status after its decision to sell in China, I decided I needed to share this post. (*WARNING: graphic image towards the end of post*)
